Cholsey Primary School PTA
Hello!
Welcome to the Cholsey PTA (Parent Teacher Association)
The PTA supports the children at Cholsey School by raising money for additional equipment, and extra-curricular activities that enrich their learning experience and life at school.
What has the PTA funded?
The PTA have recently funded many things for the school, including:
30 Chrome Books, waterproofs for forest school; interactive lighting for the school hall; sports equipment; garden tools and over a hundred new dictionaries. As well subsidising school trips, the PTA also funds workshops and visiting practitioners to support the children’s project work. PTA money also pays for a gardener who offers outdoor learning in the school garden.
How does the PTA raise money?
The PTA organise events such as the Christmas Fair, School Disco, Quiz Night and Summer Fete, plus run stalls and volunteer at external village events such as the May Day fair and the CHOKO Beer Festival.
How can I help?
The PTA are always looking for people to get involved either as a volunteer at events or as organisational support. As a parent, carer or grandparent with a child at the School, you are already part of the PTA. There are regular meetings each term to plan events and discuss fundraising ideas, which everyone is welcome to attend.
How can I find out more?
