How to apply for a place at Cholsey Primary School

If you would like to apply for a place for your child at Cholsey School you will need to contact Oxfordshire County Council: www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/residents/schools/apply-school-place/infant-and-primary-school

Children born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023 (inclusive) will be starting Reception from September 2027.

The deadline for receipt of primary and infant school applications is 15 January 2027. Online applications are available from 3 November 2026.

We advise you to apply online as this is the most efficient and secure method of applying.

Admissions to Cholsey during the school year

Pick up a transfer form from your child’s current school and follow their instructions.

If your child is new to the UK, or not currently at school, you can pick up a form from us as long as you live in Oxfordshire.

Free School Meals

If you need to apply for free school meals, please contact the school office for support.
(Please note that Years R, 1 and 2 receive a free meal at lunchtime.)
